Walk between dunes and sandy river beds to the paradise Oasis de Terjit and its refreshing source, certainly one of the most beautiful places in Adrar. Lunch under the palm trees. Short walk to the stalagmites and return. In the afternoon, explore the Terjit Canyon. Bivouac in Agrawa.
Terjit Canyon – Bakar Circus – Tezzent Canyon. Crossing towards the Souegua Plateau, then heading for the Cirque de Bakar dotted with dunes and sandy wadis. Its chimney-shaped massifs evoke landscapes of the American Far West. Picnic in Mevlek Bekkar. After lunch, continue to Tezzent Canyon surrounded by imposing massifs.
Tezzent Canyon – Oued El Abiod – Tifoujar Pass. Passage through the village of Tentemgej and a walk between dunes, palm groves, and prosopis fields. Picnic in Newekan. Our camel caravan glides across endless dunes, leading us through breathtaking Saharan landscapes. Continue hiking through the dunes to reach the Bivouac de la Vallée Blanche (White Valley).
Tifoujar Pass – Agrewa Well – Oued Toué. A small climb to the Tifoujar Pass offers a superb panorama over the White Valley. Picnic in N'Dreynaya. Continue the hike across the mineral plateau of Agrewa to the sandy bed of Toué Wadi near a refreshing palm grove. Bivouac in Touera.
Oued Toué – Palmeraie of Leguletatt – Erich Saghir. A day of walking between gardens and cultivated fields maintained by local inhabitants (depending on rainfall). Cross the rocky plateau and enjoy lunch in Leguleitatt. Possible encounters with local oasis communities. Quiet walk to Erich Saghir. Overnight bivouac in Erech Sharag.
Erich Saghir – Erich Kabir – Erg de l'Amatlich. Crossing day between Erich Saghir and Erich Kabir through a green valley where maize, wheat, and barley are grown (depending on rainfall). Nomadic camps along the route offer opportunities for spontaneous encounters. Picnic in Eirich Elkhebir. Bivouac at Lekhreiza.
Dunes of Amatlich – Azoueigua. Hike through the heart of the magnificent dunes of Erg Amatlich to reach the plateau. Picnic under the acacias of Tejalla. The colors of the landscape change constantly with the sunlight. Arrive at Azoueigua, the largest dune in the country, where the bivouac will be set up.
Azoueigua – Nouakchott. Road transfer back to Nouakchott. Visit the Fishermen's Market before dinner. After dinner, transfer to the airport for departure.
